All you need to add is vegetable oil, methanol, lye, electricity and tap water. The whole setup fits comfortably in the corner of your garage. And because it's a "closed" system you won't have to pour or stir any liquids. The patent pending Direct Catalyst Injection design provides for goof-proof lye dissolving as well as metering and mixing premix into the oil. It will turn even heavily used cooking oil into clean burning, biodegradable and smooth-running biodiesel. - No More water washing with the Green Fuels America BP-6 and BP-12 Biodiesel Purification Systems! The air operated, pumped, biodiesel purification system comes with all fittings to attach to the fuelpod or Fuelmeister systems with ease and can be used with any biodiesel processor. The BP-6 comes complete with a single 5lb. purification tower and 5lbs. Of Amberlite BD10-Dry Ion Exchange resin; enough to purify 500 to 750 gallons of biodiesel at a cost of 3-4 cents per gallon while the BP-12 comes complete with twin towers; enough to purify 1000 to 1500 gallons of biodiesel. Simply wheel the system to your reactor or wash tank, swap the lid with the supplied dry was lid and attach an air line. Drain the glycerin from the fuel, turn on the system and walk away. A few hours later the fuel is crystal clear, purified and ready to use, it's that easy.
